Pillsbury has a brand-new—and delicious—way to salute the troops. In time for Flag Day gatherings on June 14, and Fourth of July barbecues, the baking company has introduced a new ready-to-bake cookie dough complete with a U.S. flag. Patriotism has never tasted so good.

The new cookie dough was created in partnership with Operation Homefront , an organization that helps military families transition back to civilian life after they leave the military. According to Chewboom.com , for every cookie purchased from now through the end of August, Pillsbury will donate a portion of the sales to Operation Homefront up to $150,000.

The new cookies are part of Pillsbury's Shape Sugar Cookie Dough line, making it a super easy way to support military families and serve up some tasty cookies while you're at it. Plus, if you're in a hurry, they are definitely easier to make than the Sour Cream Flag Cake or the Cherry Flag Pie and will still make a splash.

If you want in on the fun, you'll be able to spot the special ready-to-bake sugar cookies on the grocery store shelves by looking for the star-spangled box with the Pillsbury Dough Boy saluting the cookie flag right on the box.
